What finance features does amana provide?
amana keeps every posting in a debit/credit journal — with documents on the entry, budgets and projects, bank reconciliation, period close with reversal-based corrections, and reports. Can we generate donation receipts automatically?
Yes. From recorded donations, amana produces single or consolidated receipts, archives them and — on request — sends them by email or WhatsApp, with delivery status and protection against duplicate sends. The form a receipt takes and its tax effect depend on your organization’s country.
Can we manage multiple organizations?
Yes. amana manages multiple organizations in one platform — for example an umbrella body with branches, departments, chapters or affiliated organizations. Each has its own data, roles and financial units.
What does amana cost?
There are three ways and one scope: Support for €99 a month, Switch at the price you pay today for your current software, or Join for €0. Every way includes every feature. You can cancel or change the paid ways every month: if you cancel, the month you have paid for runs out, and a new amount applies from the next monthly invoice. You choose, and nobody has to explain themselves.
Where is our data stored?
amana currently stores your data in the European Union. Every organization gets a strictly separated space, so data is never visible across organization boundaries.
How do we get into the app?
This page publicly informs about amana. You reach the protected application at app.amana-app.com — sign in there with your credentials.

For organizations in Germany

Does amana support SKR42 and DATEV?
Yes. The Germany pack brings the SKR42 chart of accounts with sphere allocation via KOST1. Your tax firm receives the data via a DATEV-compatible export — no manual re-keying.
How does amana handle EÜR and double-entry bookkeeping?
amana keeps a single debit/credit journal. The cash-basis statement (EÜR) is a view of it, and the balance sheet can be switched on. Locked entries are blocked against later edits; corrections run through reversals. How to set this up in your case is best settled with your tax firm.
Does amana issue Zuwendungsbestätigungen?
Yes. From recorded donations, amana creates Zuwendungsbestätigungen — the German tax receipts — as single or consolidated confirmations, archives them and delivers them by email or WhatsApp on request.
How does amana allocate the four spheres?
For tax-privileged organizations, amana allocates postings to the non-profit sphere, asset management, purpose-related operations and commercial operations. Allocation keys split a transaction across several spheres automatically.
